Abstract: | The Science and Math Investigative Learning Experiences (SMILE) Program at Oregon State University, in collaboration with its partners gave high school students the responsibility for monitoring certain IAQ parameters such as temperature, relative humidity and carbon dioxide levels that may adversely affect indoor air quality. SMILE has helped educate high school students on indoor air quality issues, training them to perform IAQ assessments of their school and is encouraging them to present their findings to their local school boards. |
