| Abstract: | The Medical Mycology Research Center Procedure Manual is used on a daily bases for all laboratory procedures conducted at the center. The procedures are ones that we have found to be useful, even though other procedures may be used elsewhere. It is important to remember that the procedures must be performed by properly trained personnel. Many of the procedures that we use may not be suitable for use in other areas because of the distribution of some fungi in different geographica areas, and the availability of some kits and reagents may not be available in all portions of the world. For more specific information regarding the procedures that we use, a reference section for each procedure has been added is provided. |
